Hello,

Just found this board tonight and everyone looks so friendly.  Some names I recognize from another board.

I'm Ell aka Ellspeth, originally from Okie Land, now learning to live in Glasgow.

Really nice board here.

Hmm... me, glasgow girl and ellspeth.. any others in here staying in glasgow? Glagsow girl and Ellspeth... how long have you been here? How are you liking it? I think it's great- especially after moving here from Dundee! Its not a bad place really but there was *so* little to do...

Hey!  I've been here on and off for about 2 years.  My husband and I are moving to Lincolnshire in the fall, but he was born and raised here, so I'm sure we'll visit often.  I really liked it when I lived here as a student, but it has passed its sell by date for me.  Too expensive and can't stand all the dirt.  I'm a country girl at heart, so we are compromising and moving to a smaller town.  How do you find it?  I think it is a great city, just not for me.

I think I'm a city girl who enjoys nature... i love the quick train ride out to Loch Lomond. But I enjoy having convience and a good choice of things to do, and Glasgow is great for that. Of course, its more about availability to doing things than actual doing things... :)
My hubby was born here too- Bearsden to be exact. Yours?
