Hey everyone my 9 month old is just starting to talk and with us being american and now living in the UK I am not sure if I should give in and start using the british words for things or keep on with the american ones that I know and love so well??

such as diaper/nappy         stroller/trolly/pram

I dont want her growing up confused but I dont really want to foget the american words either??? HELP

Use the words you feel most comfortable with except for pavement(sidewalk) which I feel is a safety issue.   :)  Then when she starts school have a little talk about words she'll need to know-knickers and loo.  Then she'll be out of your control and before you know it, you'll all be saying ladybird and pinafore dress.  ;)
