Debt deliquency rules

Has anyone heard of this? That if you are deliquent on payments back in the states they can stop you from entering even if you are a citizen?

Never heard of that.  If it's true, though, I'm screwed :-)

I've never heard of that, Trish.  It'd be interesting if it was.  I've certainly got debts back in the US and we've been back twice now with no problems.

Don't know about that but I do find it fairly odd that they say there's no way to check on your state-side credit yet the main credit reporting agency in both the U.S and the U.K is TRW ???
