Best: The adventure of seeing what is out there. (I'm a road trip junkie and can't wait to get back to them.)

Worst: Gas/petrol prices.

Yikes! I seem to have a bad habit of forgetting.  ::)

Spending time with casual friends (people you know and like but aren't really close to).

hhmm best-- gets you  'away" of what you need to be doing..a  good break..

Bad--  sometimes  you  regret it and think about  the waste  of  time  that just occurred..

Best - it is fun, generally low cost, way of getting and giving a gift as a way of getting to know someone better.

Worst - sometimes struggling to come up with a nice gift for a low price for someone you may not know well enough to know what he/she enjoys.

Best:  cheaper, healthier, and more often than not, tastier (that's 3 bests!).

Worst:  more time consuming.

Take-away food for dinner.

fabric stores

Best:  Fun to look around in--you can get inspiration for projects just from browsing.

Worst:  There aren't any in my area that I know of.  (I used to work on Fabric Row in Philadelphia--now that was some fun browsing!  Also my cousin's family owns a trimmings shop there as well.)

Good old-fashioned hardware shops (not big chains like B&Q).

Best - Friendly service from someone who cares about you, your project and giving you the best deal they can.

Worst - Generally higher priced, overall, since they don't get a 'big buy' discount like the chains do.

Weekly visits from the same person (friend or family).

Best - Keeping in touch.

Worst - Making sure the house is clean, so you don't embarrass yourself. :P

Best:  Lots of things--maybe all the nice clothes we can choose from is one! (not that men can't wear them, too if they so choose, but you know what I mean)

Worst:  Monthly cycle and all that it comes with--ugh.

Getting a professional massage.

Best: Cheap to drive, while offering many health benefits.

Worst: Inconvenient for long distances.

Snow
Best:  Almost everything especially the quiet that comes with it and the pace of life slowing down.

Worst:  The dangerous ice that comes when it starts to melt.
