New rule - can no longer amend passport to change name

Which is why I don't go by it as the image it brings up....

I know you didn't mean anything by what you put Carolyn..............I sooo hate that name....named after my father his name was Bertram...WHY would you do that to a little girl...

Can I still use my old passport that has the amendment for my married name then?

It's a good thing I've got my British passport now so if we wanted to travel anywhere (other than the US, that is), we can!

I have the same question...my passport has the amendment with my married name...is this still valid to use until my passport expires? or do I have to send in for a new one?    I can't seem to understand the information from the links for this situation....Thanks

Yes, you can still use that passport until it expires.
