Man of the House
« on: November 29, 2005, 07:16:52 PM »
A middle-aged married man we know, had always been
disappointed at just how little control he had over his
life, his marriage, and especially his wife. On the advice
of his friends at work, he went to the bookstore and
purchased a book on becoming a more assertive husband
entitled, "Taking Back the Marriage" with the subtitle 'How
to recapture the traditional role of a husband.' He took
the book home and snuck it down to his basement workshop
where he managed to read it in private. After he finished
reading the book, feeling as pumped up as a drill sargent,
he flew up the stairs, stormed into the kitchen, and walked
   confidently up to his wife.
Pointing a finger in her face, he said, "From now on, I
want you to know that I am the man of this house, and it's
my word that's law! I want you to prepare me a gourmet meal
tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal,
I expect a sumptuous dessert. Then, after dinner, you are
to provide me with exquisite and passionate sex followed
by a hot bath where you will wash, massage, and relax me.
And when I'm finished with my bath, guess who's going to
dress me for bed and tuck me in??

His wife after listening to his chauvenist rantings
calmly replied, "The funeral director down the street would
   be my best guess."

I think she had time to come up with a retort as he ranted for so long. . . .  ::)
