I was only joking!! I know you can see the castle from Slough, my grandma lives there.  (Slough, not the castle unfortunately!).  And we don't need any more rolling eyes smilies messing up my nice competiion thread.  ;D ;D

My DH grew up in central Lancashire, near Preston and Lytham & St. Annes.


This picture features Astley Hall ( a 400 year old house that is now a museum and art gallery.) and is also part of Astley Park.

I didn't either!  If I had -- Norwich would have a vote. :P  DH & I have often jokingly remarked that Norfolk is sort of the 'Kansas' of England -- not that Kansas doesn't have its charms... [smiley=gorgeous.gif]
