But perhaps it's because I'm not jingoistic either?  I just see the dual citizenship as a win-win situation.

I am jingoistic, and I still intend to go for dual citizenship (though that's a ways down the road for me). If I had to give up one for the other, I'd think twice. Or if my two countries ended up on opposite sides of a war or something. But the world would have to change in big, scary ways for that to happen.
