The mall at Milton Keynes has an American Food Shop (that's the name of it) that has tons of US products, loads of stuff I never realised I missed until I saw it on the shelves. Me and DH were grabbing stuff left, right and center until we saw a price tag and realised the price hike that had been applied! Over £7 for a box of fruity pebbles!

I ended up getting some sweet tarts for the boy and some triscuits after spending some time marveling over the familiar labels and slogans.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but there's a store called Americalicious in Bridgnorth:

https://www.americalicious.co.uk/index.asp?loc=home

They got the polski wyrob dill pickles, man. Mark of quality. Their hours are limited even for British stores, though, and last time we were there they were supposed to be open but weren't, so I'm not sure what's happening there.

Also, the Day In supermarket at the Arcadian Centre in Brum has Mt. Dew for 75p a can. It is Mt. Dew made under license in Singapore, but doesn't taste too different from the "real" thing.

Really? My Tesco's were selling it. Next time I go if they have one would you like me to get it and send it over to you? Cheaper than buying it online....

Yes Please that would fantastic!!  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  definitely cheaper than the Import store prices there prices are highway robbery I know they have to pay Import tax on the stuff but man its still way to expensive for us to use regularly we only use them for special occasions.  ;)  :)

I recently found a store in London--near Sloane Square called Partridges that has a very decent range of American food...found it when I was on the hunt for American-style Kosher dill pickles...success, by the way! (cake mixes, maple syrup, Miracle Whip, A1 Sauce, marshmallows, Pop Tarts, Lucky Charms, goldfish crackers, you name it...)

You can also order online, for those of you outside of the London area.

Just don't buy out their dill pickle selection before I make a trip in this weekend :)

I've been meaning to post this.....

A distributor called Americatessen provide American food to different stores in the country, and if you call them, they will give you the names of places in your area that they deliver to.  Their website is www.americatessen.com.

Also, a garden centre in Bagshot, Surrey called Longacres Garden Centre stocks some American stuff like Graham Crackers, Goldfish crackers, Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, Double Stuff Oreos, Duncan Hines cake mixes and frostings, Aunt Jemima, Jiff peanut butter, A & W root beer in cans and 2-liter bottles, and more.  The stuff is outrageously expensive, but most places that sell it are.

AND,...there's a sweet shop in Reading, Berkshire that sells some stuff, mostly candy, cookies, soft drinks, and cereals.  I got the info on Americatessen from the woman who owns this shop.  It's called Strange Sweets, and if anyone knows anything about the layout of Reading, it's in the Harris Arcade on Station Road.

Came across a shop in High Wycombe today in the Eden mall that has sweets from all over the world and quite a few American products like Lucky Charms, Herskey's Syrup and a lot of sweets. also saw some US sweets in the House of Fraser a few doors down, they have Mike & Ikes, Reese's Nutrageous and a few others.

Hi there,
Apologies for reposting this question but I couldn't find the original thread.

Can anyone give me tips on getting American [brand] food in London? I'm looking for stuff like Cool Whip, Saltines, Velveeta -- - - that sorta thing. Are there stores or online shipping options that you know of?

Thanks so much!
