It seems to be pretty accurate.  My son told me how much he makes a week, I plugged it in and it was within a few pennies on tax and NI.

Thanks Cait

Nice little link but a little depressing after you see the results.

Damn near spot on to my pay slip.

Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Interesting!  I like that someone at my income level pays the same taxes as me and the next.  My tax situation works out better in the UK than in the states. In the US I was always so screwed with taxes, single, high tax bracket for being a high earner, no dependents, no property.  No matter what I did in terms of donation, playing around with deductions, I could never take more than the standard deduction and I was always paying a fortune in taxes. But tax wise, I work out much better here, probably one of the only few!

Cheers.  It's a recent one that Steve took last week on our sunny Cyprus holiday. 8)

i know this is a little late, but the best place i've found for job hunting in scotland is s1jobs.com.  i like that you can exclude agency listings!

How accurate is this link?

I just put my info into it and it worked out to pretty much exactly what my deductions are.
