Boston Legal

Anybody been watching Boston Legal?  It's on tonight on Living TV, a satellite channel.  It's great...William Shatner is enjoying an Indian Summer in his career as Denny Crane a one-time top lawyer who now has "mad cow" and is usually an embarrassment to his colleagues.  James Spader is a maverick lawyer with a heart and Candace Bergen as one of the partners.  The scripts are usually witty and it also addresses some controversial themes such as stem cell research and the Iraq War.  David E Kelley is the producer and when it's good, it's very very good..took me a while to get used to all the establishing shots though, they zoom around a bit!

I have to say, I have NEVER been a William Shatner fan, but... I LOVE him on this show.  I adore James Spader and love his character, but the Denny Crane character cracks me up.  Boston Legal plays at midnight on RTE and I would usually watch it in bed, but I'm not allowed to anymore because I kept laughing out loud and waking up DH.

Same here, thank goodness on Living its on a bit earlier so he was still awake.  The part where the twin girls starting singing "Micheal Row the Boat Ashore" and Alan says to them Did you know that Michael was a homosexual Jew from Mexico (or whatever it was exactly)  I about lost it from laughing so hard.
