Do i have to fill out the extra forms ???

My question is if my sole income for 2003 is from UK wages as an american citizen...can i just fill out 1040 with the US dollar conversion for wages/taxes withheld without filling out any extra forms like the 2555, 1116 or is it required because i am living in a foreign country....???

You need to file 2555 to claim your exclusion and 1116 to claim your foreign tax credit. Otherwise you will loose them both !!!!
