I'm a huge Simple Minds fan (their fan club in 1985 is how I found my English husband) and the movie is "The Breakfast Club"

I liked the idea of doing videos, but it struck me that it has its downside – sometimes they vanish! Not to mention they can appear as clueless black boxes when embedded in a post. Could use spoilers but apparently not everybody can see them. So, backing up to post #947:

Real Real Gone, Van Morrison -> It’s the Real Thing, Coke commercial compilation -> Cocaine Blues, Keith Richards -> Singing the Blues, Guy Mitchell -> Electron Blue, REM -> The Elements, Tom Lehrer.

The following extended jams session brought to you thanks to a touch of insomnia. Or as we insomniacs like to call it, just waking up early.

Elementary My Dear, Schoolhouse Rock

One is the Loneliest Number, Three Dog Night – or

Here Comes the Flood, Peter “two mics” Gabriel.
Why not both?

No Man is an Island, Dennis Brown

No Man is an Island, Tenth Avenue North

Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out, live performance featuring “Blow big man” Clarence Clemons

You’re a Friend of Mine, Clarence again, video with Daryl Hannah getting all creative on the couch

Nurse Hannah whistling the theme to “Twisted Nerve” in Kill Bill

The Nerve, George Strait

Money For Nothing, Dire Straits

It’s Money that Matters, Randy Newman. “Fish need love” protester @.17

Theme to A Fish Called Wanda, John Du Prez. Du Prez was a member of the band Modern Romance, so…

Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Queen. Which takes us all the way back to the OP.
