Hi my name is Lisa and I am visiting my boyfriend who lives in Eastbourne.  I have only been here for a couple of days so don't have too much to share.  It is so different being in another country even if we speak the same language. :) but also exciting..nice to meet you all

Hi Lisa! Welcome! So you're in England visiting? How long are you going to be there? I'm heading over in 52 days to "visit" for 5 months. :)
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!

Welcome to the board.  Sorry to hear about your Mom.   :(  I hope you enjoy your time in the UK weather you decide to stay or not!

I know somebody who could help you out with that question and give you an objective view.  Her sign-on name is USAUKOK2K. :o

Just kidding!  Don't be afraid to ask the "strange" questions about the UK, we all do on a daily basis. ::)

Hi Lisa, great to meet you.  We're all family here so don't be shy about asking us questions, venting, or even making a comment about something you miss back home.

A lot of us are in the chat room on a daily basis, come on out and join us..  Our "official chat time" is on Tuesday evenings from 8 pm - 10 pm but usually lasts much longer.  Enjoy the ride.

Cheers.
