hi, any one now about citizenship waiting time i applied my citizenship on 14 june 2012 by NCS in Manchester, i receved acknowledgement letter on 3 july and take a payment on my debit card, after that 3rd july i am still waiting for any reply from home office is 5 month now. tks

Most applications are dealt within 6 months. If you haven't heard from them after 6 months, you can contact UKBA and get an update about your application status. Hope this helps!

Such an exciting thread!  Glad I stumbled on this information.  I filed a form UKM through decent through my mother whom is still a UK citizen living in the states.  I was born in the states:  I sent my items from US to Liverpool via FEDEX

Mailed UKM to Liverpool: 12/17/2012
E-mailed form to request documents returned:  12/21/2012

Nothing else to report, no credit card charged etc., hopefully will take the average of 2-3 months I see here!
