Ive come to steal all your chocolates
« on: December 16, 2002, 06:56:29 PM »
;)
Well, Id like to...but it wouldn't be a very nice first impression.

So, hello out there.
Im just sitting here next to my Christmas tree observing my 1 year old smear yogurt across her face.
Im in Hampshire county among many scary people in wellies.
I have married a lovely British man with big eyebrows who I love to death.
I have packed my other two kiddies in suitcases and brought em with me on this grand adventure. (Ages 6 and 10 last I checked)
Ive been year a few years...and Im still lost.
Ive visited other sites and come across this one...so its my New Years new start.
Hello all, some names look familiar....

You can take all the ones with the carmel centres.

I'm not too keen on the fruit ones either. But LAYOFF the ones with nuts.

How are your older two adjusting? Have they developed an accent?

Oh I will fit in just fine as caramel is my favorite and Im not keen on nuts. LOL
As for my kids...my 10 year old has picked up British slang but not the accent.  As my 6 year old started school here at 4...she sounds more British then American.
Friens and family tell me that my own accent has been softened and I have British tones to it.
As for the baby...yeah shes British..she has a proper British cry and just "gets on with it"
hehe
