Has anybody seen The Young Victoria?

I saw it in the cinema a few months ago.  I thought it was interesting, if not particularly exciting.  DH fell asleep  ::)

Rats, I was hoping it would be good.  I didn't even notice it had come out in the UK so I guess I've missed it anyway.

I saw The Princess and the Frog with my nieces and nephew and we all loved it!

Saw the preview for that and thought it looked good  :)

Saw Nativity yesterday and loved it!  Brilliant comic moments and some moving ones as well.  Plus it's always fun to spot locations you know (it was filmed here in Coventry).

I haven't seen it but I was surprised when I saw on FB that one of my US friends was going to see it the other day... as I remember it being released months ago. It turns out that while it came out in the UK back in March, it was only released in the US (select cities) just before Christmas.

I just saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie.  Very fun. :)  I won't give anything away, but it's set up nicely for a sequel, which I hope they'll do.

I also saw the trailer for the upcoming Robin Hood, which looks really good.

Has anybody seen The Young Victoria?

I LOVED it, and I was not expecting to.  The friend I went with (male) thought it was too gushy-lovey, but that's what I loved about it.  It was a great human story about two people, not a stuffy historical film.
I recommended it to my parents, and my dad is a huge English history buff, and they both loved it, even if it's not historically accurate.

Thanks.  :)  I'll look for it on Lovefilm.

Not yet but my boyfriend went on set to fix all the IT systems they had and was there for a couple of days, so we've been waiting for it to come out for awhile! :)

I saw Up in the Air last night and really enjoyed it.  George was v. good and not smarmy for a change.

I want to see that one!

We saw a few movies in NY:
Me and Orson Welles (Really enjoyed it and thought of you MeShell!!!)
Avatar (Really liked that one too, I know not everyone did)
It's Complicated (Loved this one, Meryl can do no wrong!!!)
Leap Year  (It was OK, not the best chick flick I've seen.  Gorgeous scenery though, and Matthew Goode plays a great Irishman)
Oh and I saw Julie and Julia on the plane. (Really loved it, again, Meryl, amazing!)

Really want to see Invictus too.
