Yes, I'm running again for them in May, too. Having been through chemo, I can honestly tell her that it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. And I think that'd be cmforting to hear.

 Feel free to PM me (I can PM you my email address, too)! I'm not familiar with plasmacytoma, but I certainly am well acquainted with stuff like bone marrow biopsies (BMBs), *shudder*

The BMB was definitely one of the worst things to go through, zomg I still have nightmares about that needle.

DH's grandfather was diagnosed with both lung cancer and alzheimers a few months ago... But we just got a call that he was given 2 days to a week to live.  :\\\'(
