I hope she's just stuck in Cali!!

thanks! I hope so too. But she's should have landed In Nashville 24+ hrs ago. I would think/hope she would call someone somewhere to let them know.

Another one of her friends (who lives in Nashville) was able
to talk to her ex-step dad, her mom, and her step-sister and none of
them have heard anything.

She was at the exboyfriends house. "sleeping" for 18+ hrs. Mmmmhhhhmmm. Sure.

The great thing is she was added to three different churches prayer lists for her saftey while she was missing.  Grin pretty much everyone knows she was missing and where she was found. So she's gonna have alot of expalinin' to do at my southern-bible-belt wedding.  Grin

Her mom and one other person has files police reports that she was missing.

This is the second time she's done something like this. She screed up my graduation too. And I forgave. I'm just going to get through the wedding for right now. But she's really screwed up out 16+ year friendship.

Oh goood! I'm glad she's safe and sound, and no longer missing!  Turns out 0phinky was right, after all!!  Smiley

But let's just give your friend the benefit of the doubt--Jet lag can affect everybody differently...especially when travelling across what, like 15 time zones, or something ridiculous like that??

Hope the rest of your wedding week goes by smoothly!

Glad she's okay, but seriously she couldn't have sent a text to someone before she passed out?

Oh, I've had some seriously flaky friends.  A childhood friend was supposed to come visit for a week and never turned up.  Come to find out, she'd met a cute guy and went sailing with him instead.  Good times.   Roll Eyes

I'm glad your friend is okay.  And turning up "sleeping" at en ex-bf's house while ending up on 3 church's prayer lists and having to face a lot of those people at the wedding on Saturday -- might just be punishment enough.   Tongue  I hope she's ready to roll for the rest of the wedding stuff and you can have a great week!

I was really beginning to feel alarmed as I read through this thread...and then to have this ending...  Laugh4  Thank you ImissEngland, I'm sure it's been a huge pain for you but it gave me a smile.  Good luck with your wedding!

My sister was meeting a good friend who'd done a semester abroad in France.  The friend was supposed to pick up my sister from the airport in Paris and then they were going to backpack around Europe for a month.  The friend didn't show up at the airport so my sister made her own way to a hotel and called the contact number.  The girl's roommate answered and said the friend had "run away" with a French guy instead!  Angry  My sister did the trip on her own. Luckily she had a good time and managed to make some new friends along the way.
