Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd post some details to this thread and see if anyone else is around the same timeframe as my husband and I :)

Here are our dates:

Application submitted through SCS: 11/09/2014
Confirmation received: 18/09/2014
Biometrics submitted: 11/10/2014

So we're about 14 weeks out. I guess the Christmas period will hold things up a little, but it'd be nice to hear something by the end of Jan :)

I sent off my ILR application around the 17 September and have had my letter and email confirmation and did my biometrics at the beginning of October.  Had a DX delivery on Christmas Eve but we were away.  I wonder if this could be confirmation?  Seems a bit early considering how long other people are waiting.  I wonder if it could just be my husband's passport being returned?  I'd be over the moon if my ILR has come through so quickly.  We've been married nearly 10 years so maybe it was really easy to decide.  I am on the 2 year track so fewer things to go through.  Just hoping for a Christmas/NY miracle!

Hi everyone -- we came back from Christmas at my Mum's to find both the approval letter and BRP on our doormat. Hurrah! Bit odd we didn't have to sign for it, but oh well...

Not sure when they arrived, but the approval letter was dated 22/12 -- which is just under 14 weeks after we submitted. Similarly to dragonfly_girl, we've been married 9 years and are under the 2 year route too. We also submitted through the settlement checking service, so not sure if that pushed things along too.

Last I heard/checked, ILR applications were taking ~5 months to be processed.

Is there anyplace near the Southwest (Poole/Bournemouth) where I can do a "same Day" service?? (regarding my ILR Set(m).. I am taking Life in UK test soon and submitting paperwork as well.  Thanks

Here are the PEOs (Public Enquiry Offices) where you can do the same day service:

If you're in Bournemouth, Croydon (South London) would be the closest to you.
