No idea, but we are going out with mom and dad tonight for Thanksgiving. With us working odd hours over the next few days it was just easier for them to come to us this evening.

We'll probably (hopefully) go all you can eat somewhere, to get that overfull Thanksgiving feel.  ;D

After eating big Wednesday night (we ended up at Ponderosa) a quick and easy (and boring) meal Thursday night because of cooking big yesterday for our Thanksgiving, and leftovers for lunch, we decided on pizza and beer tonight.

Well DH and I did our thanksgiving last night so tonight is leftovers! Yay! Turkey, cornbread stuffing, scalloped potatoes and cranberry sauce. I made so much sauce the other day I'm considering freezing some of it.  :P
Keepin' it real. Real annoying.

Baked pork chops with a grill rub, steamed veg - a bit of this and that.

The chicken kievs were such a success the last time that we made them again, but with mushrooms sauteed in olive oil, garlic and thyme as the side.

Homemade French bread pizza and the Italian Job on Channel 4.

Christmas dinner one last time. We had our big meal of ham, mash, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, asparagus, his Brussels sprouts and desserts on Friday, leftovers Saturday, ham with other things yesterday, and finished it off today. Back to cooking tomorrow.

Domino's pizza. It's my concession to the fiance for New Year's Eve. Tomorrow it's back to real food.

Escalopes and sausages. Really into snowballs and ginger snaps as an aperitif this Christmas, though. Loving the advocaat this holiday.

I am SO excited for our steaks, roasted brussell sprouts and homemade Garlic and Gruyere Au Gratin potatoes. Mmmm. So yummy.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

The Token Brit--My husband is trying to introduce Chip Butties to everyone he knows here. I'll make sure not to tell him about your lasagna and chips! Tonight in my house, "tea" is Spanish chorizo, patatas bravas, olives and manchego cheese, freshly made bread by me and washed down with Tempranillo. Who am I kidding? Everyone in the house will eat and I'll be having liquid dinner!
