Argos sells the tanks if you have one.

And yeah, I'm one of those loons that buys a tank for everyone's birthdays.   ;D

I bet you throw the best parties!  :D

Complete opposite!  We don't do parties.  Though not to sure how much longer we will get away with that with the 3 year old.  The parties are sooooo over the top for kids here.  I miss simple parties.   :-\\\\

But everyone should have a room full of balloons on their special day!

Really? What are kids parties like these days?

I seem to remember having simple parties when I was a kid: just a load of kids running around the garden and playing games, then party food and cake at the end. Occasionally we would go somewhere like a 'Softland Play' at a local leisure centre, or when we were older, a day out at a wildlife park or something, but nothing more elaborate than that.

Most parties my daughter attends are ~£20 per child with no cake or party bag (parents still do those).  Soft play is very popular for her age.  She has had a farm party, Pizza Express party, and a few hired halls.  Only one party at someone's house!  Which was bar far my favourite.  The kids had a ball!

I think friends in the US are spending just as much money due to the Pinterest craze.   ::)  At least the parties are home based though.  I hate "keeping up with the joneses".  Not my style!

Inconvenience. I feel like I've been spoiled back home even though I grew up in a lower middle class house. Like right now, all I want is a few foil ballons, filled with helium, to welcome my husband back from his deployment. Back home, you can pop into Kroger, or even the Dollar Tree and get em. Here? It's like looking for a unicorn! Oh you can find the foil balloons in plenty of places, but will they fill it? No. No offense, but that feels like a half assed job. May be because I live in a "quaint" middle of nowhere town. Ugh. What do people do here? Keep helium at home?! Don't get me started on parking....

I've bought and had balloons filled at the card store. I think it was Card Factory?

Won't someone think about the MRI machines?  Helium is a finite resource and we are running out!  You guys should be more serious.

I said this to my husband the other day... apparently they found a new pocket somewhere so it's not as desperate.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I prefer to breathe in the helium from the balloons and talk like a munchkin!

Working my way through the SET(M) app.  I hate my handwriting.  And what do you want to bet they'll change the form before I apply (right after I get back from holiday).   ::)

They changed the one for FLR(M) a day after I printed mine, which was only a few days before I planned to send it in.  I hate UKVI in so many ways.
