Save or Splurge?
« on: March 08, 2011, 05:25:27 PM »
I give the item, you tell me whether you buy the cheaper brand/product, or splurge on the best available. So if I say "wine" and you are a Lambrini girl, you say "save," if it has to be the good stuff, you say s"splurge," then you give the next item for the next person.

Ok, so....

Shampoo?

Hmm, I like to kid myself that I can use anything on my hair (as I stare at the LUSH and Origins products in my shower)
Splurge!

Soda?

Splurge!!!!!

I wish I could by cheap bras but they only come in smaller sizes and the few I have found to fit are way to uncomfortable. Hell, even the expensive ones suck. :-\\\\ I hate bras...wish I had the body to not have to wear one.

Just my 2p worth, but even little boobs need bras (not a fan of droopy little boobies at least not for myself).  ;)

Winter coat

Splurge. I'm constantly cold and I need to be warm. Also, I don't believe in wearing puffy coats unless one is skiing or somesuch or it's below say, 20F out. So I splurge on a good quality wool coat, but usually try to wait for some sort of good sale.

Splurge.  I don't like the stuff, but hubby is a bit of a connoisseur so I splurge on buying stuff for him when I'm out and about.

Save...I have a sincere distaste for waste (ie. throwing away and/or replacing a perfectly good mobile every year or so) &, believe you me, I LOVE my gadgets.   ;)

Interesting - up until recently it was definitely save as i hardly ever wore it

Last week however i had a massive splurge on Benefit makeup and replaced nearly every item in my bag :) So splurge from now on!
