Looks interesting! I left my details for them as well.... I wouldn't mind getting out of the house. Haha.
There are two kinds of people.  People who say what they want, and people who DO what they want. Which one will you be?

Well, I went to the open casting yesterday.  Looooads of people there!  According to this they're looking for 2000 extras, and I think they'll easily get them!

It was a bit anti-climactic, though.  Turn up, stand in queue, get measurements taken, get picture taken, get a "If you don't hear from us within 2 weeks you didn't get it, kthnxbye."  :)

Fingers crossed though!

BAH! I just got an e-mail saying I've been shortlisted for it!  :D

Problem is, I booked a flight for the last filming day because I hadn't heard and assumed I didn't get it!!  :(

It says that if you have to miss a day or 2 they might still be able to make it work, so I guess it's still worth a shot!  :)

Will do! When I responded, I may have fudged slightly on the details of my availability...   ;) :P You only usually get one chance at something like this, if you're a non-actor, so I can't imagine it will ruin my oh so bright non-existent future in film!  ;D

The days often change a bit (or sometimes a lot) as it gets closer, so all may not be lost.  Hope it works out for you!

I got this email from a different casting agency today:

If it's an extra with no lines, why does it specify "North Americans"....do they look significantly different to Brits?
The easy answer is occasionally they grab an extra to do a small speaking part, so the accent needs to be right.

They're doing re-shoots on WWZ this week, and I got work for today and tomorrow.  As I was getting all sorted out (costume, etc), they started asking all the extras (there were about 30) who was an American.  Turned out I was the only one, so I got A COUPLE OF LINES IN THE MOVIE!!!!

Here's hoping I don't get cut!   :)
