March Madness 2013!
« on: March 20, 2013, 08:41:59 PM »
I know there's a thread from last year for March Madness--

But GUESS WHAT!  This year, there doesn't seem to be any sort of geographical restrictions with streaming online.  I'm currently watching the NC A&T vs. Liberty game through the NCAA website, here:  http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/

And, since the game was actually played yesterday-- it means you can watch the full replay at your own leisure, rather than staying up until silly times to view it live.

WooHoo!!  Thought I'd share this info in case anyone's not yet discovered this.  :)

Thanks for posting this!  Unfortunately, it doesn't work for live streaming.  If you click on a game in progress it says, "Live video is only available to viewers in the US, US territories, and Bermuda."  BOOOOOO, NCAA!

aw, BOOOOO!!!!!!  There goes my idea for a skype date night, since my OH is in the US this week! :(

but apart from that, I think I'm happy just watching the replay in my own time, with no added hassle of getting a proxy/vpn thing, registering, paying, finding other random/illegal? ways.... last year I even tried using a friend's Comcast account to stream online, which still failed me.

So, sorry I cried wolf :(

Almost did think it was too good to be true, but still better than nothing! Let's hope for an awesome tournament  ;D
