Library Digital Downloads / ebooks

Hiya! My library back home allowed me to "borrow" ebooks for my kindle. Since moving to the UK it won't allow me to do so anymore because I'm outside of the country.  Is there anything like that here? I'm in a tiny little country town and as soon as I say e-anything people get that zombie stare and have no idea what I'm talking about. Thanks

My library (Manchester City) has a similar programme. I would check your  library's website and see if they have one as well?

The Cornwall Library system does it as well, so my guess would be that you'll be in luck!

I know this an old post, but it seems silly to ask a similar question when there's plenty of space here.. Does anyone know any libraries in London that do this as well? I'm a book worm and would love to try this program out when I move in a couple of months.

Turns out I can download through my county library online. The selection is smaller but I'm so happy I have the option.  :)
