Can anyone help me?

I have just started Graduate School here in the UK. I took out two US loans, one unsubsidized loan, and one Graduate PLUS Loan. A check was sent to me that was the Unsubsidized Loan, a tuition payment was taken out of it and a small refund check was given to me.

I have yet to hear anything else about my PLUS Loan. Or received any other check?
Do any students here know how this works? US Loans is not helpful at all.

You need to go to student finance and ask when the disbursement of the plus loan will be. They should disburse it in thirds throughout the year and should give you all of the dates. If you're struggling with money, they can loan you the amount of your cheque and just keep that money when it comes.
