Mine is back and OK'd. Mailed the afternoon of the 17th and back in my hand the morning of the 25th here in Spokane.....so just short of 8 days with priority processing. If I had mailed it Monday (16th) instead it would have been 7 days.

Absolutely. I thought it would be.....no reason why not. But, my wife has been twitching for days. Moving sale this weekend. Call the shipping people tomorrow for the little bit of stuff we want to send back.....and the major dog $$ for 2 dogs being sent back...Hopefully in 3 weeks I will be having a Vindaloo for the first time in 4 years.

Awesome!!! I'm looking forward to those comforts I loved. Although I'll miss my favorite pizzeria, deli shop and Chipotle lol.

Now we just have to decide on which company to use for shipping dogs+what very little of our own stuff we are shipping. Neither of us have much left so a couple thousand dollars should get everything there. Moving sale this weekend for everything that's left in the house and the workshop......we are only keeping a couple of plates, forks etc.

I used Air Animal and would recommend them.   :)

I had Air Animal down as a possible choice.....they took a while to get back to us though. They seemed to be a little cheaper than the other options. Based in Texas I think? We've got one other company that is based up here in the NW that is calling back tonight. We would drop the dogs off 3 days before they leave and they would take care of everything at that point. Just depends on what they come back with for a price.

They're based in Tampa, which is where mine shipped from.  We have a family friend who is the chief vet for the Tampa Bay Humane Society and he personally recommended them.  Also their final bill was less than the quote, by about $300 which was a pleasant surprise.

But honestly I haven't heard a bad pet shipping story.  I think they are all pretty much the same.

One company we kind of crossed off the list. When they called us about a quote they insisted that we didn't need the UK chip in the dogs to get them into the UK......which may or may not be true, but we were going to have to have the new chip put in anyway since they would need them while in the UK.
