FedEx tracking number updated in the system. Scheduled delivery on Monday, just as I thought!

Renee, I am sorry that it took so freaking long but at least you now have some answers! A strongly worded letter is probably due.  Misplacing your documents?  *Shudder*  You should, at the very least, get to claim back the priority since it really did nothing for the process.  Good luck with your move!

txfotochik,  I was about to say check back later but it seems that you are on top of things.  I hope it's good news.  Waiting the weekend is just a tease.

Thanks! Yes, I cringe at the thought of waiting these few days out to get the most important answer of my life, but I will be pretty busy now trying to tie things up here. I am sure the time will pass quickly. :)

UPDATE!

Visa type: Spouse (non-priority)
Online application completed: IDK exactly?
Biometrics completed: July 11
Application packet mailed: July 18
Documents delivered by USPS EXPRESS: July 21st
Email confirmation from Sheffield: July 24th
Decision email received: September 25th
Visa arrived: Soon Hopefully! (Fedex Tracker says Monday)

So happy to finally have some movement. I was beginning to get a bit concerned!

MY SHINEY VISA ARRIVED TODAY!!  YAYYY. I scheduled my flight for October 4, 2014.

Words cannot describe the relief I feel.  Im a natural stresser but this was unlike anything I've ever experienced.

Good luck to everyone! There is INDEED light at the end of the tunnel!

I got my decision made email today as well!! HUZZAH! They gave me a new FedEx tracking number, which says it will be delivered tomorrow! Beyond excited!! :D

Sheffield has been busy this week! I got the decision e-mail this morning! So nervous  [smiley=sick.gif] and so excited  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]. Congratulations to everyone who has received their visas and to those of us still waiting nervously, good luck to us!

I got my email saying that my application is being processed as priority on Wednesday morning exactly one week after they received it. Now it's just a wait and constantly check email time.

That makes processing time exactly 4 weeks from the day my application was delivered to Sheffield to the day my visa was delivered to my door!

Now, excuse me while I go book a very important flight!! Can't wait to see my man next week! [smiley=love.gif]

I know! Things my husband has sent over in the post have arrived fairly quick as well. Maybe my location on the northern east coast (MA) makes it that much closer for transit time? :)

Yay Renee!!!!  I'm so very happy to hear you finally have your visa.   :D

As for the length of time it took to get it - absolutely dreadful!  Like you, I shudder to think what would have happened if the MP hadn't gotten involved - yikes!  :o

Keep us posted about your efforts to get a refund on your priority payment.  Fingers crossed that you get it back.

My passport with shiny new visa arrived via FedEx this morning!! Interesting that the validity started on 15 September, but I didn't even get a decision email until the 25th, hmmm. That just means I'll be getting married sooner than I thought. Lots of planning to do!
My life has now taken a turn, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. So damned excited!!
