Just wanted to put in an update here - it took one full MONTH for the CoS to be allocated!! Ugh. I am not sure if it had anything to do with the 11th or not because it was not allocated until the 16th. The Home Office simply told my employer they were taking 4 weeks to process.
Nonetheless, now it's allocated and I rushed to get biometrics done and now my visa has been received by the UK Visa NY Office and now I wait again
