« on: September 19, 2014, 03:36:43 PM »
Just had DH's letter today inviting him to get biometrics done. Do we send to same office ILR was applied for at? Recorded delivery or does post office send through their system?

You have to go to the post office and have your fingerprints, signature and picture taken and the post office sends them off to the Home Office electronically. You can't just send them in. Check the Home Office website which will direct you to the post office website to see where you need to go. There are only a few major post offices that takes your biometrics. You just can't go to your local post office. I just had mine taken a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the replies. I'm lucky that our local post office is one of the biometric ones as I did wonder how far we would need to travel.
