Freelance work on Fiance Visa

I know that I am not allowed to work in the UK until I get my FLR(M), however, what about work based in the US? For instance, if i do freelance writing for clients or online entities based in the US, would this go against the no work restriction?

That would still count against the no work restriction.  It doesn't matter where the work is based.

Yes, it would.  It sucks, but you can't even volunteer on a fiancé visa.
