Pensions

Husband is a legal alien here in the US. Will he be able to collect a pension at retirement from the UK? We spoke with a woman from Norway who will collect a Norwegian one as well as an American one when she retires. He's only 32 so we have a while, but just wondering.

When you mean "collect a pension at retirement from the UK", do you mean collect it from the UK government while living in the US or livnig in the UK and collect Social Security from the US?  Either way, your husband, as long as he has put money into them, should receive something back, though I doubt there will be any money left when he retires.  :D  I'm the same age and don't expect anything from the US or the UK.

We are not "expecting" any money from either side of the pond, but should there still be some left it's great to find out we would still get something from both.
