Phone # for Sheffield? UPS is requiring
« on: October 30, 2014, 08:37:40 PM »
Hi guys, I need to ship my package out tomorrow and on the UPS form online, it's requiring that I put a phone number for destination. Does anyone have a phone # for Sheffield offices or what did you put?

Also they said I'll receive electronic invoices (emailed to me then I go pay online) is this what the Visa center requires?
Thanks!

0870-606-7766 was the phone number UPS put down for mine.
The paper I had never listed a number so she said she was looking up the phone number on the website and that's what she put down.

Just incase you'd like to see yourself instead of just rely on information without proof: http://www.kgbanswers.co.uk/i-would-like-the-address-and-phone-number-of-the-sheffield-visa-application-centre/23481297 [nofollow]

Thank you so much for looking that up!
Any idea about these questions?
- when UPS charges me they'll send an invoice to my email (electronic invoice)...is this ok with Sheffield? They don't have anything to do with it right? I just include the envelope with the return waybill label on it?
- Who is the "contact" at the visa center? (it wants a name -I just repeated the title of the center..."International Operations and Visas".

I guess what I'm trying to ask is: Is getting sent an invoice to my email the correct type of waybill? Is this the electronic waybill that is required?

And I don't need to go on the www.international.ups.com site do I? Just use the Domestic account I set up and "Worldwide Express"?

Can anyone tell me a contact name to put on the form (for Sheffield)?

Sorry to keep asking questions but I need to mail this TODAY! All new to me and can't take a chance on screwing it up!
Thanks!

Hi, UPS told me when my pkg is return delivered I will be billed online accordingly.
It doesn't matter to Sheffield how you pay/or the arrangement you have, they just want the responsibility of the ship costs to be yours , not theirs.
I just used the entire address with International Operation and Visa's as the name line.
UPS also asked me for a UK PH # for the delivery address. I didn't have one but gave  my fiancés number. She explained the computer just needed one to recognize in the country of delivery.   It worked and the bonus to me was if there was trouble with delivery etc, they would contact him which is better than it being somewhere it shouldn't be.
I created my own prepaid label at home (to be billed for when delivered) and for the outgo to Sheffield I went to the UPS store, sent Express on Fri , was delivered by 9AM on Monday and they were great & had it ready in moments.

Hey, I just put the visa help number for the number. I sent it, got it all back so it was fine. Just make sure you send it to the right address and address it as requested.

Well I know it worked because my package arrived today at Sheffield! I was thinking of typing up a detailed instruction of how I arranged the UPS shipment in case it helps others.

Oh my god, PLEASE DO. I am so confused about it! And calling UPS to ask them didn't help - the woman I spoke did not seem to understand my situation. I'm confused about what to do particularly because most of the documents are over in the UK with my husband, so we decided to take the advice of some of the people on this site who said it might be better to overnight everything I had to my husband in the UK where he'll add his documents, and have him overnight it all to Sheffield. So my UPS shipment would go to him, but the waybill would be for the trip back to me from Sheffield. I understand how it would work if I send a shipping label and the immigration office just puts the charges on my account when they ship it all back, but I don't see how it will work if they want something "prepaid." So any advice you give would be greatly appreciated!
