"Decision Has Been Made" email does not give "decision" Help!

Hi everyone. After weeks of waiting to hear back about my spousal visa, I finally just got the "Decision has been made" email from Sheffield. But it doesn't say what the decision was! It says that my passport and documents are being mailed back shortly, but it does not say if I have been granted the visa or not. It doesn't say that I need to send anything or that I've been denied, but I know from reading forums here that sometimes people just get letters or their visa's back with denials without emails. This doesn't ask for anything and doesn't tell me anything other than "your passport will be sent from the visa processing center shortly." Does this mean I have it? Do I now have to wait till I get my passport to find out? Any advice would be very appreciated.

This is a generic email everyone gets.  You won't know until you receive your passport.  But rest assured, 98% of applications from the US are approved.  I anticipate you will have a great early Christmas gift!

No need to worry.     A while back, the email used to say what the decision was, but nowadays it will only say a decision has been made without any further details.  (if you get an email at all; some people have found they just get an unexpected package out of the blue with their documents and visa decision)

Such a tease, right?  All that waiting only to wait some more!  I am sure that it will be fine.  If you are approved then there will be no letter; only your documents and your passport with one very expensive sticker in it (mine was open to the visa in the package).  Fingers crossed for you.
