When is the earliest date I can apply for naturalization?

Hello Lovely People,
I need your help please.

Can you please let me know when is the earliest I can apply for naturalization?
I came on Spouse Visa  on  the Old Rules ( 3 years)

Date Arrived UK 22/04/2012
 Date ILR granted 30/03/2014

Do I have to apply Naturalization on the 23/04/2015 (3 years after arriving in UK)
or  can I apply on the 31/03/15 ( 1 year after receiving ILR) ?

When is the earliest I can apply ?

You don't have to hold ILR for 1 year.

The earliest you can apply is the date you meet the following residency criteria:

1) You were physically inside the UK exactly 3 years prior to your citizenship application date

2) You have not been outside the UK for more than 270 days in those 3 years, with no more than 90 of those days in the final 12 months.

If both of these apply on 22/04/2015, then you can apply on that date. If they don't, then you will have to wait until you do meet both requirements.

Basically, if you weren't in the UK on 31/03/2012, then you cannot apply on 31/03/2015.

I have only been out of the UK once and it was only  for 3 weeks .

I thought I could apply one year after holding ILR.  Thanks for verifying this for me.

I will have to wait  and submit  the application after  the 22/04/15.
