Accommodation listed on Spousal Visa
« on: January 31, 2015, 02:58:41 PM »
Hi,

I'm in need of some advise on how best to approach this.

I currently live with my parents at our family home and I'm in the process of purchasing a house as a first time buyer.  I have a meeting with the mortgage lender next week and it looks as though this is going to go ahead with the expected completion date of the property being end of March.

My wife is looking to make her spousal visa application also at the end of March.  My question here is, should we put the property details on the application as my parents house (which there are utility bills etc) or should we put the property down as our new house?  Or do we put both down and advise on our future plans?

As always, any help is appreciated.

Use one or the other.  Only use the house if you have completed the sale.

You don't need utility bills.  Just a letter giving permission from your parents if you use their house, plus the land registry.
