HM Forces-spousal visa
« on: February 28, 2015, 05:22:51 PM »
I'm applying for the spousal visa in April after our wedding. My fiance has been employed by HM Forces for 10 years. So far as I can tell, there isn't a difference between visa requirements of partners of HM Forces vs. non HM Forces. This is correct?

Also, my fiance works away from home during the week on his base but he returns home every weekend to his house (two hours away). He just stays in a dorm-style room on his base. When we're married we'll have the same setup- I'll live in our house and he'll return home every weekend. Do we need to include any accommodation information about his room on base?

You need to fill out a couple different forms actually, they're specific to HM forces. I'm told theyd are pretty similar to what others do. My husbands in the RAF, and I was just approved to go to the UK. I can send you exactly what I did, and others are super helpful on this site.
