French Official for Endorsement of Health Certificate at CDG?
« on: October 11, 2015, 05:47:01 PM »
Hi guys,

We're finally getting close to the time of our move to the UK and have definitely decided on going through Paris so that we can have our two cats in cabin on our flight.  I've read numerous places online, though, that people who have flown into CDG airport with pets in cabin can't find a French official to sign off on their paperwork.  There's a specific spot on the certificate for the official at the point of entry into the EU to sign for the purpose of further movement into other EU states.  I'm concerned that if we don't find someone at CDG to endorse the paperwork that the British officials at the Chunnel crossing won't let us through with the cats.

Does anyone have experience with this?  I've sent an email to CDG asking if maybe we need to go to wherever cargo pets are handled to have this done, but the advice of anyone who has actually done this would be great.  Thanks!
