Honey baked salmon over wilted spinach. Sautéed asparagus. Baby potatoes.

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Not tomorrow but have a local expat meet up Saturday.  Funny thing when you get a big group of Americans together - you end up with a LOT of food!   ;D

Anyone doing a special Thanksgiving Day meal?
I always like to see what everyone's going to eat!

Yes! We always have the big dinner on the day. Made my pumpkin pies today and boiled eggs for devilled eggs. Have a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams and green bean casserole to make tomorrow...all served with a dinner roll. :-) Oh and the devilled eggs go on my appetizer plate with two types of cheese. I can't wait!

This was the menu for Thanksgiving this year at my parents (I cooked)

Roast Turkey with stuffing
2 types of baked ham
brussel sprouts
mashed potatoes
gravy
brocolli
baked yams
pumpkin pie
pecan pie
apple pie

Ended up feeding 15 people, it was great. I got the turkey from Lidl, it weighed 5.6 kg and was the best turkey I have ever cooked, moist and full of flavor.
