Oh, I see now.  You made it sound much more exciting.  Looks like that brewery is having a lot of success.  Not surprising since all that stuff must be sugary sweet.  I'd give all those a try, but you can't go around drinking liquified apple pie.

That is weird. Flat rootbeer flavoured drink... gross!
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Just found this in the American section of Tesco

I love how the picture is a hipster serving root beer to kids

Last i checked (as of a year ago) you could get A&W and/or Mug at Pan-asian (Japanese/Chinese) supermarkets.  It's imported from Singapore.

Also, you could get them (as always) at Kosher supermarkets-- likely imported from the states.

Interestingly enough, if you visit the Five Guys UK website, they have in their FAQs - "Why doesn't Five Guys UK have root beer?".  They blame it on an issue with their supplier.  To which I counter-- you don't have a good supplier then.

A&W obviously doesn't have the ingredient that is policed. Sadly, my favourites (Barq's and IBC) do. So you can't get them here. I'll drink A&W if it's the o ly option but I won't go out of my way to get it like I did for Barq's.

We've been loving that Virgil's Root Beer I talked about above.  It's really good.

I'm angry at 5 guys, they have the Coke Lifestyle machines in Kingston but don't have them connected to the Internet. luddites.
