wife cleared and matches £18,600

Here's what they'll do using some simple figures: (ECO Formula)
Hello All:
I know this si a formula the ECO use for gross before the 18,600, i have the documents coming to where my wife has cleared it by £500.00 from 2015-2016 taxes..and this is after all taxes to get the net amount..is this good ..£19,100

Thanks in advance
E:

Total gross earnings - £25,000
Expenses:  Car (£5,000)
Fuel (£500)
Phone (£1,000)
Adjusted income before tax = £25-£5-£.5-£1 = £18,500
Tax therefore paid on £18,500, meaning the sponsor does not earn greater than £18,600.

Whereas if her account were to not include expenses to increase her taxable income to greater than £18,600, you will qualify for the visa.
