Can I use a USA ID card to fly domestic in the UK?
« on: May 02, 2016, 04:00:22 PM »
Hi,

the home office have got hold of my passport while I'm getting my stolen visa replaced. I don't have any ID issued by the UK government, however I do have an identity card issued by New York state. Does anyone know whether I can fly on UK domestic flights with this as my photo ID? Or do I need a UK-issued ID card to do so? I've googled and looked around and haven't been able to figure it out.

Many thanks.

The requirements vary by airline.
