Spouse visa renewal (2.5 years)
« on: May 23, 2016, 01:26:01 PM »
I was curious to the success rate of those that have renewed the spouse visa at the 2.5 years mark? Is this stipulation primarily to make sure the couple are still a couple or is there a risk to having your 2.5 spouse renewal application rejected? Thanks!
Application submitted: June 20th

If nothing has changed in your circumstances then there is nothing to worry about. I think they do want to make sure you're still qualifying for the visa.

thank you!
does the financial requirement for the initial spouse visa still apply at the renewal?
i.e. minimum income/savings?

The financial requirements for FLR are exactly the same. Well, the amounts are the same but the employment income of the US spouse can now be used.

(For ILR, savings level is decreased but income level is the same)
