Stupid question but is there a chance a company called DX Delivery could've been delivering it? I got a slip through my door that my dog then promptly shredded before I got home...I can just about make out the company name and the fact that it required signature by piecing together what I could and it LOOOOKED like it could've been addressed to my maiden name...never heard of the courier before....I've reached out to them but need to wait for a reply. Wondering if anybody ha received their visas returned via DX Delivery before? X

Yes, DX is the company that delivers the visas.

See this thread about someone who had issues getting DX to deliver their FLR(M) BRP to their workplace earlier this week: http://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=88137.0

Just called them and after 15 minutes of holding they confirmed they do have it and it IS from the home office. Bit nervous about proof of ID though as its in my maiden name. I asked if theyd accept ID with my married name and they asked if I had a passport. Told him it's a catch 22 as that's what I'm trying to get! Lol he said to just have my marriage license at the ready just in case.

I'm off camping tomorrow and they can't guarantee delivery before 2 so I now have to wait on edge until Monday. I'm dying here!!

It sounds like you submitted your application about a week before I did.  Is yours back to you yet?  I have summer plans that are about to go awry if I don't get my documents back:(

Just saw your last post - thank goodness you got it!  I've got 7 more postal days of possibly getting mine before my summer plans explode in my tear-stained face.  No drama here.

Sooo turns out that DX delivery must be my BRP card! My husband received the visa via Royal Mail on Friday (which means I could relax while on my camping trip!).

IT'S BEEN APPROVED!! Said I will receive the BRP card with further instructions any day of i hadn't already received it - which is why I'm assuming it's the DX Delivery coming tomorrow. I will wfh and confirm then...but YAY! 30 more months before I need to stress out again! Haha this time I'll make sure to save mail and stuff.

Ick! That's rough! I didn't plan on going anywhere I'd need my passport for until Christmas (months away) because I don't think I could deal with the extra stress! (I'm already crap at flying).

You could try calling the home office to see if they can either send your passport back ASAP (as I know you can request your passport back before it's been processed) or you could try emailing them or something? Best of luck!!
