I'm actually reading this thread with envy and looking forward to moving even more! It's been one of the hottest summers on record here, there hasn't been a week that dropped below 26 for any length of time since May and many over 30. Give me 20's any day and I will be a happy girl.

My sister emailed me yesterday from New England to say it was a "cold and rainy" summer day there.  She said it was about 65ºF (18ºC) and I started to laugh.  18ºC was our temperature yesterday too and it felt really really warm to me.

Another vote for quite happy with the temperature! It could be sunnier, but I wouldn't trade this for 85-95F and 90% humidity my mum has been getting in Cincinnati!

I am trying to just accept the "summer" here instead of wishing I could wear sundresses and flip flops all day (as opposed to having to constantly carry jackets or change clothes because it got cloudy and the temperature dropped 5 degrees). But it's hard! I definitely don't miss the weeks of 100-degree heat indexes but it would be so nice not to wear hoodies in August!

Yeah, I do find the need for a hoodie in August to be a bit annoying. But 30 degree C heat just might kill me with the humidity. I'm used to 40 degree with zero humidity. It's hot but at least it's dry...
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

It's super humid here right now and I'm actually enjoying it because it's so familiar!
