I was a lineman

And I need you more than want you,
and I want you for all time...
And the Wichita Lineman is still on the line
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Nan -- your post reads like an outline for a best-seller.  Have you considered who would play you in the film version?   ;D

Well, for my younger years I'd say Dolly Parton, since we'd have sounded similar, but there are a couple of things we definitely do not have in common.  ;)  ;)

So then I'd default to Martin Freeman, since he has the range. But he's way too short.
So.... hmmmmm..... ::)

When I'm stressing I tend to run on at the keyboard. (As if you couldn't tell.) The application is sitting at a UPS warehouse in Kentucky, since it's a holiday, and is due to be delivered by 10:30am tomorrow to New York. I hope all the scuttlebutt I'm hearing about EU family permits being turned around quickly is true - the kid is on pins and needles, and I'm not much better.  ::)
