Boris Johnson US Citizen and Voting for Trump/Clinton
« on: November 08, 2016, 05:28:21 PM »
Hi guys,

I am so so curious... since Boris Johnson, the UK Foreign Secretary is an American, anyone else curious as to whom he is voting for?

Well I'd guess either Clinton or Gary Johnson since he said that Trump was "clearly out of his mind."

Did Boris ever renounce his US Citizenship? I know he said he "intended" to do it but I wonder if it's been done.

As of this summer, it seems he didn't renounce yet. I wonder if he was waiting for this election even so he could vote.

The guy is full of bluster. He has not renounced it.

Or, possibly he has renounced.

"A Foreign Office spokesman confirmed that the Foreign Secretary was no longer an American citizen."

The July-August-Sept. "name and shame" list in the Congressional Record is late again, as usual. It will be interesting to see if his name is on it this time around. Celebrities (such as Tina Turner) or noteworthy politicians are usually listed within 6 months. For others, their name may never appear (hence the low numbers of renunciations reported by the US media).

According to this just a couple weeks earlier, he was still one.

A change:
The Jul.-Aug.-Sept. provisional list was published today, but has not yet been published in the Record. The number of renunciations for those 3 months totals 1,379 people.

But, Boris is not on the list.
