I know there are at least a couple more people who have applied/are soon applying.

As for me, I've still had no confirmation email and am starting to worry if they put my application in the non-priority queue. (Yes, I do realize I'm just being silly since it's only the third full day they've had it.)

Bear in mind that not everyone always gets a confirmation email - sometimes it gets missed and an email isn't sent at all, but that doesn't mean it won't be processed priority.

As you mentioned, you put 'Priority Settlement Processing' all over the package you sent, so I'm sure it's either that they're a little behind or that it's been logged but an email just hasn't been sent.

Yes, yes, I know. Even though I only wrote it in ballpoint pen since the UPS store had no markers (?), it was still all over and you'd have had to be completely blind to not see it. The letters were big and everywhere, if not perhaps as dark as I'd have liked.

It's just my nature to worry, even when I needn't.

Yes, I didn't get a confirmation email, just an email asking for an additional appendix two days after the package had arrived (I knew from my fedex tracking #).  Funnily enough, THAT email said "Following our previous email confirming receipt of your application..." although that first email never showed up.  But I know for a fact they have it and have opened the envelope, and I bet the same goes for others who haven't received the email.
Spouse Visa:
Received by Sheffield 19 Nov 2016
Decision Made 26 Jan 2017
Visa Received 30 Jan 2017
Arrived in UK 15 Feb 2017
FLR (M) Biometrics 16 Sep 2019
FLR (M) Approved 17 Sep 2019 (Super Priority)

Not done just yet but I'll start my post and update Tuesday!

Online Visa Application Submitted: Jan 11, 2017
Biometrics Appointment: Jan 17, 2017 (gonna try walking in tomorrow though)

Still tossing and turning trying to choose priority or not. Money's tight at the moment but everyone seems keen on priority and i'm nervous not to!

This is the best time of the year to go non-priority. Unless you're in a desperate hurry, I would save your money.  :)

Priority will likely shorten the wait by about 2 weeks or so (maybe 3 depending on when they catch up with the pre-Christmas rush).  Only you can answer if that is worth it or not.  The cost of priority is high.  You could probably pay to get your UK license with the savings if you do non-priority (two tests and a few lessons).  But if you are going to be a nervous wreck during the wait, priority may be worth it.

Today I got AMAZING news!! Finally, after being married for 5 months, my husband and I will get to be together! This was my second attempt for a spousal visa. We applied priority. Here's our timeline:

Docs Shipped: Dec 19th
Docs arrived in Sheffield: Dec 21st
Confirmation Email: Dec 22nd
Decision Email: January 12th
Visa Received: January 16th

Praying for you all that your wait is short and you get to be reunited with your loved ones!

Now, what to pack?  ???

Congratulations. I for one am super jealous.

Twelve working days between confirmation and decision emails (remembering the 3 bank holidays) isn't too bad, at least.
