Yeah we overnighted there essentially which was way it was so much and back I have listed st 3.5 which is what the application was going but I'm hoping it's less they keep everything but my originals that I asked for back and made copies for them already!

I spent 20 minutes on the phone with the contact centre yesterday which cost a fortune in itself and they couldn't fix the tech issue with vfs. So didn't get that shipping or priority! They did send me a confirmation email that it was an issue on their end. So if there are any issues I will send it to Sheffield!

Update to my timeline.

Request for Appendix 2: 1/27/17 (don't be foolish like me and forget to include it  :-[)
Sent Appendix 2 and notification that it was received: 1/29/17
Decision Email from Sheffield: 2/16/17

Passport & supporting documents returned: 2/20/17

APPROVED!

And they honored my intended travel date of 1 April.

Can't quite believe it!

Best of luck to everyone still waiting! Xx

Fantastic news!  You are the first I've heard of getting the requested travel date in a long while.  Hopefully they are remembering to check that field once again.   :)

Thank you!
Frazieme- yes I guess it was pretty quick for non-priority. A month? I seriously worried constantly about if I had forgotten anything, so I understand the worry. Hang in there!!

My timeline Spousal Visa:
Online Application submitted - 13 Feb 2017
Biometric appointment- 21 Feb 2017
Non-Priority Application mailed via UPS - 21 Feb 2017

Just a note to those going to their biometric appt in Seattle: I thought I read here and elsewhere that I only needed my biometric notice and passport for the appointment. However, when I checked in, she said she need the first page of my application to confirm the passport number. Luckily I brought the entire package with me (for mailing) or else I would have been a bit upset as I live about 80 miles from the USCIS center.

Wow this thread is addicting (and so helpful)! It's encouraged me to start my application ASAP!

Does anyone know why January and February are the best times to apply for a visa? Just curious. I am going to apply in March but now I'm a bit worried the processing times will be much longer.

It seems as if the February applicants got their visas within two weeks and that would be amazing.

Congrats to all the recent approvals  :)
